Strategic Primer assistive programs release, development report, and roadmap (0.4.9015-rc2)

It’s been over a month since the previous release candidate and point release of the suite of assistive programs for players and Judges of Strategic Primer. In that time I’ve made some somewhat significant fixes and new features, so it’s past time for a new release candidate. I’ve made a new “point release,” version 0.4.9014.2, that includes the bug fixes described below and those in 0.4.9014.1 but not any new features beyond 0.4.9014, and also a release candidate for 0.4.9015. You can download them from GitHub (at those links) as usual. Continue reading

2017 Goals Third Quarter Report: Strategic Primer

After looking at the last quarter to check my progress on my general goals for the year and check up on the same for the Shine Cycle, it’s time to take a similar look at Strategic Primer. Unlike my report three months ago, I’m not combining this with an assistive programs development report; that was last week. Continue reading

Strategic Primer assistive programs release, development report, and roadmap (0.4.9015-rc1)

It’s been nearly a month since the last release of the suite of assistive programs for players and Judges of Strategic Primer, and I’ve continued to improve these programs as I found need. So it’s time to make a new release, or at least a new “release candidate.” I’ve made a new “point release,” version 0.4.9014.1, that includes the bug fixes described below but not any new features, and also a release candidate for 0.4.9015. You can download them from GitHub (at those links) as usual. Continue reading

Strategic Primer assistive programs release, development report, and roadmap (0.4.9014)

It’s been a little more than a month since the last release candidate of the suite of assistive programs for players and Judges of Strategic Primer, so as I’ve continued to work to improve the code, and have tested it myself on all the major platforms it’s designed to run on, I’ve declared its current state to be version 0.4.9014. You can download the release from GitHub as usual. Continue reading

Writing status update (#51)

It’s now been two months, instead of the one I intended, since I last reported on my progress in developing the Shine Cycle, so I’m long overdue. And while this neglect is all too typical of both the last few weeks and the last several years, these last weeks have shown some definite improvement. Continue reading

Strategic Primer assistive programs release, development report, and roadmap (0.4.9014-rc4)

It’s been nearly a month since I marked the last “release candidate” of the suite of assistive programs for players and Judges of Strategic Primer, so as I’ve continued to work to improve the code, it’s time for another. You can download the fourth release candidate for version 0.4.9014 from GitHub as usual. Continue reading

2017 Goals Second Quarter Report: Strategic Primer

It’s nearly July already, the year half gone, and since one of my goals for 2017 was to “After each quarter, assess progress and note any necessary amendments to goals in a blog post,” this week I’m going over my goals for the year to see how my progress so far compares. On Monday I looked over my progress on the Shine Cycle; today, a look at what’s happened with Strategic Primer. Continue reading
