Strategic Primer assistive programs development report and roadmap

In the month since my last report on the development of my suite of assistive programs for players and Judges of Strategic Primer, I’ve made only slight progress.

The most notable change is the addition of the release-building logic to the repository; I had to recreate the build file from scratch after an accidental rm * in my home directory deleted the original. The one in the repository now also builds the application from source and makes sure that all the tests pass in addition to building the binaries.

The other changes have been largely cleanups and refactorings; I’ve fixed one longstanding but minor bug (the keyboard focus didn’t start in the main map panel, so you had to click on it to be able to scroll using the keyboard), but discovered a more serious but less tractable one (the scrollbars let you scroll well beyond the edge of the map). Wrestling with that problem has kept me from working on the submap UI, which I’d hoped to be able to report completed by today.

Last month’s roadmap remains, I’m sorry to have to say, unchanged.
